In 1970, Zenith introduced the chormacolor CRT. This sign is from 1970 and is very unique as it uses a motorized color wheel to illuminate a fiber optic display.

  • Excellent! Wish I had something like this. I own a vintage Zenith TV. And it still works!

  • Even now in 2009, that sign is still awesome!!

  • Now that cool Zenith sign definitely brings back memories of my growing up years. I was 11 years old in 1970 and it was also the year that my family got our first color TV - a Zenith console. Thanks for posting it.

  • The fates have not been so kind to Zenith. Back in the day, if you wanted a good TV, Zenith was it. But now they are just a shadow of their former selves. Same goes for RCA.

  • We always had Zenith's. I think I even remember this sign, or at least one that was Identical. Thanks for posting

  • Very cool sign! I'd like to have that on display in my shop!

  • A very effective (and neat) alternative way to achieve Las Vegas style decorative lighting.

  • I love that sign!! AWESOME!!
