  • this debate is actually the real picture of indian slums....i agree with mr.seth completely and i like the way he put things and explain them..cheers man,,

  • @cleverfeller u are a perfect example of a stereotype!!

  • so much time on hand...discussing everything under the sun but what we really need to discuss !

  • this guy called suhel seth called australia a racist country! Therefore, he is stereotyping people in australia but gets offended when his people are stereotyped. Fools like suhel seth will keep India in poverty coz he hates everyone and himself!

  • I watched the film and took it to be a film about hope and determination and ambition and love and courage.

I get a strong impression that Indians connected with the film business are just jealous that it took an English guy to come and show them how to make a film with a story that isn't just boy & girl meet, gaze at each other then dance a bit.

  • Well, perhaps English people should just ignore everything Indian and then these people would be happy. As fro stereotypes, we all have them in every country. Are these people honestly trying to tell us that India doesn't have some of the poorest slums in the world? Are we supposed to pretend it doesn't exist? It's Bollywood that creates the real stereotypes of India which are just so unrealistic as to be laughable.

  • how about india learns to make good films instead of being cry babies. oh well i forget bollywood is full of dumb copycats.

  • how long will you fool the world by showing glamarous (yet dumb) bollywood to define india. slumdog has brought back the right equation. not the first time british screwed india. did the film speak the truth? yes ofcourse, so start eradicating slums and poverty in india, instead of bashing the film. hypocrites.

  • Tata filled Mod's pocket with millions of rupees for the concessions he has given for the Nano/Motu project. Gujju fanatics call this as ''Development''. Modi apppointed more than 100 people to advertise himself. Development Development, lot of development in Gujarat for Tata, Ambani and Adani under the strong and competent chief ministership of Modi.
