This is part 11 of one of the last interviews John Lennon ever gave to the media. This was recorded in the studio at The Hit Factory on 12/6/1980 and conducted by Andy Peebles for BBC Radio.
it was john belushi or lorne michaels on snl. they said althoug there were millions of viewers, they wanted to speak to 4 people, john, paul, george, and ringo. they offered $3000 to appearance on the show. said, you can skimp on riingo . the next week george came on the show to colllect and promote his 331/3 album, showed a video of crackerbox palace. i saw both shows live and loved them. I thinnk george and paul simon did a medley of homeward bound and here comes the sun.
its interesting because it shows the full evolution of this person, all the real day to day aspects. and as a mom who's made bread from scratch and gone crazy w/the unappreciated routine, i adore hearing john talk about it!
i found it, look up snl lorne michaels the beatles
