Dude, before popping the balloon, throw it up in the air a little. You are popping the balloon right next to your dove's head and it's scaring the shit out of him. If you want to refine your work a little, I suggest checking out Dimmare's instructional DVD

This candle to silk change was better than the ones in your other videos but I suggest you better have a reason for reaching into your pocket. You could f.e take out a wand. I guess you understand what I mean.
