Teacher Tip: Always practice your demos before you do them in class. You don't want to mess up in front of the kids, and you want to make sure you know exactly how it will go and be able to work out all the kinks if there are any.

Here is a practice run I did with mixing acids and bases. As you can see it's not a very smooth run.

  • Andre,Antonio, and Nicole are in trouble.

  • I did this same expiriment using indicators in the bottom of each glass. Added a solution of Sulfuric Acid and also a solution of NaOH which changes the PH concentration to make the color change.
