Now if the protesters had half a brain among all of them, they could have easily taken control of the situation. They outnumbered the cops several to one. Protesting is fine, but if you don't have the balls to take further action, stay home with the rest of the sheep.

I think it would have been a bigger 'in your face' attitude if nobody showed up downtown. A billion dollars worth of security for nothing. Or show up at a different part of town where the police would have to relocate.
For the camera guy. next time pick a position a bit of a distance from the problem and focus properly and keep the camera rolling - steady!!!!
