200 volunteers, 22 section directors, one steady cam, a cast of thousands = one very "Sweet City".

On Saturday, September 29, 2012 over 1000 participants and spectators converged on Olympic Plaza in downtown Calgary to showcase all that is unique about our city. This type of participatory event is the first of its kind in Calgary, with regular Calgarians provided the opportunity to work with local professional artists on the creation of a public art project. The Sweet City Lip Dub was rehearsed and shot in one single day, in one take.

Sweet City Woman by Calgary's own The Stampeders is the cultural capital theme song. It was the first international #1 single to come out of Calgary in 1971.
