By the sounds of this video, I'm going to guess that you are using a Canon HV20, 30 or 40, but most likely 30. How off am I?

to refuse the implementation of electric engines in f1 would be a joke. petrol engines are steam engines cousins. electric engines are pure power

i guess KERS IS RETURNING AGAIN. LOL
-
@MrMorg19 3.5l v12 with 22000rpm with current day technology would generate around 1500bhp or even more, but most of that would be useless.

@F1Podcast~to have KERS in F1 is a joke!
-
@F1Podcast its technology with it..i like it personally...collect energy and save it for later.

My ideal F1 would be no KERS, return to 2008 downforce regulations, 3-3.5L V12 limited to 22,000 Rpm. 1100Bhp anyone?

I haven't got much against the push to pass idea, everyone has the choice to use the system so this is another small element of strategy. This is F1, I want the cars to be the pinnacle of 4-wheel R&D. And if the cost is too high for some team, there are many other racing series out there. F1 is as much about the car as it is about the driver.

that's exactly what its going to be.
if you ask me the best years of F1 where95'-99' my childhood growing up:)
i'm looking forward to see my childhood idol to return to the game .
Michael Schumacher. I think its going to be a good season, the reason i'm saying good because of KERS. I hopping it will be dismissed after this season.
to me its cheating its like havin NOS. stick to using pure N/A engine power.

Couldn't agree more mate. I hated KERS from the very beginning. IMO, it was too much like A1GP with their 'push to pass' button. - Max

How do they ground these systems? It seems that these things are pretty dangerous not only to the drivers but to the pit crew as well.

Interesting comment - thanks. Yeah BMW zaps one of their pitcrew, that was kinda weird eh? However Toyota have released comments about how the technology should not be a problem and that it should be safe. We'll see, I'd be interested to learn more on this as time goes on. (Pep)
