"Wintertime" - Improvisation on a theme in C major (Clavia Nord Electro 3 Seventythree)

Inspired by a very special person, I came up with this - on a little theme based - improvisation the other night.
Fortunately I recorded it.

The piece ends in A minor. The main theme is actually in C major.

What piano sample are you using?

This time I used one of the Steinway samples. I think it was the "Steinway Model D Ambient", edited in Cubase with EQ, reverb and compression.

Ich finde, die Original-Pianosamples sind ein bisschen der Schwachpunkt beim Electro 3. Habe irgendwie das Gefühl, dass es sowas wie ein "Nachquietschen" gibt. Irgendwie ist das mit dem Release nicht wirklich glücklich gelöst. Sowohl beim Yamaha (Nummer 1) und bei einem Steinway-Sample, das ich runtergeladen hab. Hat die Nachbearbeitung in Cubase das Deiner Meinung verbessert? Oder ist das bei den Ambient-Samples generell besser? Ansonsten ist das keyboard ja top. und p.s. nettes Video

Wenn du release meinst, meinst du den Effekt, wenn beim Tasten Loslassen die Dämpfer die Saiten nicht sofort dämpfen ?! (bei den tiefen dickeren Saiten ist das stärker zu hören). Ich finde das eine gute Simulation/gut gesamplet bei den electro 3 pianos. bei nahen Mics ist das wirklich so. Durch die ambient samples, bei denen die Mics wesentlich weiter wegstehen, ist dieses Geräusch kaum zu hören, denke ich. Dabei muss man aber viel mehr Raumhall in Kauf nehmen. mein tip: ausprobieren ;-)

@RandomPerson1000000 any minor key will have the seventh raised by a semitone, also it depends on what you end on etc
