I was using my Ruger Mark 2, with no scope, I do have a scope for my 22 rifle 4x but it was a busted-up scope that I took apart and replaced the cross hairs with my own. I mean my own hair too! It worked.

THATS A QUINCIDENCE. i just re sighted in mine today at 200 after my rings got effed up. i really dont know because i just put the crosshairs on target and then adjust to it. what power scope do u use?

How much higher do you need to aim? I tried 200 yards today and had to aim about 5 feet above the target. Seeing that I was aiming 6 inches above the target at 100 yards, 300 yards would be aiming like 15 feet above the target? :o

Yes. I put in a titanium extractor and that helps. I've also been using a lot less oil once the action is all cleaned out and that has made a positive difference as well.
If you're having problems with jamming it also helps to allow 2-3 seconds between shots.
