Although non-cannon, the gun is likely gas-operated compared to Joshua having the normal blowback mechanism, which means at that weight it could control .50 cal rounds with ease and insane accuracy, making Alucard that much more deadly. Note that the Desert Eagle is also gas operated.

TL;DR

Alucard's weapons are called Joshua & The Jackal.

Alright let me clarify.

The guns are Joshua (Silver) BFG / Jackal (Black) custom made for .454 casull rounds. Joshua - It's design is based off the 1911 and earlier colt models. The round itself is a .454 casull, with a special bullet made from melted crosses and holy ornaments with an explosive tip.

The Jackal - The gun is made of pure silver and weighs 16kg, the breech now faces the left instead of right, the bullets are now a 13mm armor penetrating round - (cont.)

I read the title wrong thought it said most epic weapons lol as in every weapon in every game and anime qualify but if it were most epic weapons it would be #1 Lucifer from dmc4 #2 what ever the name of ichigos ban-kai is and #3 claws of hades from god of war 3! In my opinon anyways lol XD
