love this song..i remember playing this over and over again ( i can listen to Melba's voice all day) ..i did not even know the Beatles made this song until much later in life...Melba's voice is incredible... i am truly her fan..

Classic, My Mother way black when, used to cranked Melba's " Long and Winding Road. Like Minnie, Melba, possessed a series of Octave vocal ranges. In this song she demonstrated just that. Her version of the Beatles classic. They don't produce singers like this anymore.
