compare to a US drag civic i think your first gear is short.i've seen alot of US drag honda holding frist gear a little longer before swtiching to second
-
beautiful ep3
-
do you think it has to with the materials used or the fact that most US tracks have some concrete in there launch area ?
-
everyone keeps saying fwd but is it rwd i see the slicks on the rear looked like the rears were spinning too. and those were steelies on front so it has to be rwd

Hi paul!
YOU DA MAN
What times does it pull on road legal tyres like r888's etc
taknight82 2 years ago
13's probably! 888's are worse than normal road tires as sidewalls too stiff.
You need really soft drag radials to try and get all that power down or it just spins up. UK tracks just don't hold the power like US ones do. Cars spec'd like this would easily be in the 9's on better tracks.

How much power was it procuding at the time?

Was about the 600bhp at fly mark running a GT35 setup.
UK street rules state interior, working lights, roof trim etc etc. Slicks are allowed however.
We have cars in the Uk similar spec to US cars. Just cant nail the times due to track conditions making them about 1 second slower all the time. US Pro cars have even come over and failed to run anywhere near their US posted times.
Rain and cold doesn't help. ;)

Ok that makes more sense because i thought its running 800bhp like it says on the site. What times is it running now with 800bhp on dry tarmac?

It only did 1 run then dropped a valve so it put a stop to racing last year. Cars being prepped again for this years HKS series so fingers crossed.
