You must not have known this, but when it comes time for you to battle Deus you have the option of removing Fei from the party altogether. Doing this allows you to preserve the power of Xenogears for the final battle. Of course if you use up that power you have no choice but to fight it without him.

just let ur hyper mode hit to 100%(regardless of any type)dropping ur hp first then restore and repeat(i mean by not killing ur self by spells and other shit that wind up destorying ur gears, die and start all over) just keep ur hp over 20% incase of any attacks

ummmm explain to me, how are you battling Urobolus, which is the FINAL boss with all 3 characters in the party without Fei? It seems when i battle Urobolus i battle with fei alone and cannot have the option to choose anyone else so why?
