The Gulf states (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Iran) could pay for an Air Defence system for Lebanon so that there would not be a repeat of 2006. They could easily afford to buy the S-300 and Tor-m1 for Lebanese security.
There just isn't any such thing as Arab/Muslim unity!

having the lebanese army well equipped should be the priority. its not allowed anymore to have any group that is armed better than the army! God bless the souls of our brave men, they are the only guarantee for our democracy and stabilization...
