@ALEXANDERvdw that's your opinion. I tried several pedals and they can never replace a good amp ;).
I do use a Tubescreamer in front of my 6505 though, to tighten the low ends and give it some more edge at about 2200 hz,

@madoerin Ah, why the 7 ? Anyways: Get a good amp, fuck distortion pedals. Even those spider modellers etc sound better than a random amp with some pedal in front of it.

@madoerin well I don't know that a7x but I still say: the sound sucks, now you can spin on your head or jump in a square my opinion won't change. Also what argument is: xyz plays this equipment, so it has to be cool. Ever heard of endorsement? A friend of mine has one from a brand he doesn't like at all. But he gets money for it so uses it. Jeez

that sounds like shit.
I am glad I never owned one.
I had a Krankenstein once (should never have sold that gem) and it sounded about 1000000 times better.
