http://myjumpmanual.blogspot.com I've now completed 7 weeks of the Jump Manual.

I can now touch the rim on my standing vertical which is an increase of 5 inches from when I started 7 weeks ago. Watch my Vertical Jump Test - Day 1 of Jump Manual video to see the difference.

I had a really good jump off the run but unfortunately didn't get it on video. Oh well, there's always next week!

  • Obviously you're gonna get higher with a run up, idiot...

  • @ultravas lol...nice comment. the videos on my channel track my progress during the 12 weeks of jump manual training i did. this particular video shows where i was at week 7 and at that point i had gained 5 inches on my vertical. watch my other videos to see progress before and after this video. i was not comparing my no-step vertical to my running vertical in this video. duh.

  • @myjumpmanual Cool story bro, tell it again.

  • @ultravas i would but it appears explaining something to you does about as much good as trying to get lebron to take the last shot. lol.

  • @SSSDiaz7 either your math isn't right or you have super short arms. i'm 5'11" and i only need 27 inches to touch the rim. my reach is 7'9" which is 93" and the rim is 120". So 120-93 = 27". at 6'1" your reach is probably around 96" (or so). 96" + 32" would be 128" which is 8 inches over the rim. that would mean you could dunk or would be very close. if your vert is really 36", you would be dunking for sure as that would be around a foot over the rim.

  • @myjumpmanual I had a quick question, I have seen posts about fast twitching muscle fiber, vs slow and muscle building. On the vertical stand I can get about 32 inches, probably more like 36'' but I dont want to risk busting my behind. Either way, that in no way translates into the jumping I need to touch the rim, I get within 1 inch or 2 but I did the math and if I got 32'' vert + im 6'1'' shouldn't I be over the rim. Could it be my technique that needs to be adjusted?

  • now, show me the workout. please i cant touch the rim

  • @runevidz3456 most of them you can do at your house. i do all the workouts at home except for the "strength and explosion" workout where you do squats, deadlifts, etc. that one i do at gold's gym

  • in the jump manual can you do the work outs in your house or at your house ?

  • @MrAlexisz23 yes, i think the jump manual would help you. the exercises are not hard in my opinion. the hard part is being consistent. i think many people do a couple workouts and expect to dunk. for most people, it takes several weeks or even months of training to add inches on your vertical. it is hard work. but it is so worth it!!!
