DN-X1700 LCD ScreenSaver Bug [Firmware 1100]

The DN-X1700 is the best mixer around period but it has two bugs I identified. Here is a bug which happens when the screensaver is activated. As you might notice on the video, the display does not actually switch off. It blinks quickly (around 50 fps) with a pattern like: black-black-display-black-display-display It also seems that the pattern is influenced by the peaks in sound. The more powerful is the sound that enters the mixer, the more often blinking is.

I recorded this sequence in daylight so I had to tweak the luminosity and the contrast to expose the bug hence the video noise and washed out colors.

I gree with you that this is a superb mixer but you're making a mountain outta mole hill by screaming "BUG!" just coz the display flickers to the beat of the music when its in screen-saver mode- a mode which involves the mixer being left untouched for 15+ minutes - unlikely in any true life siuation. Chill man

They should add an option like this with an animated EQ.

Or an hack to make our own logo flash. xD
