Sudan Beat for Peace / Mexico City's drummers

The drummers performing on this video were gathered and recorded by Mexico's Tambuco Percussion Ensemble as genuine sympathy and support for Sudan's Beat for Peace Campaign.

Sudan that has suffered the longest war in african history, claiming the lives of over 2 million people and displacing millions more from their homes.

Hundreds of drummers from all over the world have gathered to raise global awareness with a common beat, 365 days away from a referendum that will determine the future of Sudan.


El presente video es también parte de la colaboración solidaria con la campaña a favor de la paz en Sudán, país que ha sufrido la guerra más larga que se conoce en África, guerra que mató a dos millones de personas, terminó con 4 millones de hogares y causó sufrimiento, trauma e incertidumbre a millones.

Cientos de bateristas y percusionistas en todo el mundo se reunieron para despertar la conciencia global con un pulso común, a 365 días del referéndum que determine el futuro de ese país.
