I have seen many "lean" places where all remain the same for the majority of people. It is just the wording that changes. Lean fails for many reasons.
Ultimately through lean the work force loses its job security because what they do is no longer a special skill. Worker become replaceable parts. We need jobs so we can eat and sleep and reproduce. Lean takes it away.
