I never knew that Michael Lyons read in TEN North QLD (how long)?). I guess he took over from Bruce Paige who left late 1993. Michael was crime reporter at QTQ before this short stint, then Aus Most Wanted then this then I think back to QTQ? Was tghis Joanne DEsmons first year at TEN North QLD? Did Tony Murphy join the year after?

So many questions!! - Yes that was from 1994.. he rpeplaced Bruce and about a year later Lyons was replaced by Tony Murphy who read with Joanne for a couple of years until I think 10 axed it's Townsville bulletin. When I moved to regional QLD in Aug 1993 Jo Desmond was already at QTV so not sure how long she'd been there for.

This would have been late 1994? not long after QTV became TEN after Telecasters North QLD bought into Network TEN. Can somebody confirm this? Network Ten in the cap cities dropped the "Eyewitness" in August 1994.
