MPP spokesman Aaron Houston appears on ABC 7 Washington D.C. to discuss the Congressional approval of a budget that will allow medical marijuana in the District of Columbia. D.C. voters overwhelmingly approved an initiative to allow medical access to marijuana in 1998, but were prevented from implementing it until now by the Barr amendment. 12/14/2009

  • sure it can. havnt you heard? in california, come 2010, the voters will get a chance to voter for marijuana legazlization, seeing as the idea got more then the 400,000 needed signatures, they got 700,000, so, in 2010 the issue will be placed in the hands of the voters, and as of a fairly recent survey, that showed 56% of voters want full legalization, so more likely then not, in 2010, california will be the first of many statess to re-legalize the flower from god, the flower known as cannabis.

These are the actual reasons marijuana is illegal

  • It is about time congress woke up and smelled the coffee on this issue. Medical marijuana will motivate responsible users who suffer certain symptons to purchase health insurance if they don't already have it, and acquire the herb legally through a doctor.

  • i did a report on that in my 7th grade class haha

  • Legalization might occur 2012 at this rate

Too bad the world ends there XD

  • @Dilliboy63 harpers gotta go!
