  • HOw many grams of 1 plant 1,5 meters high I read..

  • @Gammanoize hard to say exactly how many grams that would all depend on how big the leaves grow i was using about 10-12 leaves when i started off as they were about 1 1/2 feet long to 1 foot wide and produced about 80-100 grams of finished product once again depends on how big the leaves are and dry you dry it out in the end stage.. note the drier it is in the end the harsher it will be..

  • Hi, cool vid's, thanks for sharing. I have started growing my own Tabacco too, not at the harvesting stage yet though. A couple of questions I have is, after shredding your tabacco, what temp and how do you dry in the oven for? What other flavourings do you use? And what variety is your tabacco. I have just germinated mine, I have Virginia gold and Maryland 609 varieties.

  • @Bradsfish hay there bradsfish hows the tobacco growing going you near harvesting yet...

  • What is the name of the plant you use?

  • if i pay u can u grow me so backey ?

  • Like to see how you make your packaging also. Nice vid thanks :-D

  • Nice vid, just wondering how you dried it in the oven after cutting it and how long you pressed it? Also, could you have dried it a bit after soaking it in bourbon, so as not to lose so much flavouring when pressing?

  • to cut tobacco, I use do it one semi-dry leaf at a time using a pasta machine, using the spaghetti cutter setting. this cuts it seemingly perfectly, similar to that which is used on commercial cigarettes. do this only with semi- dried leaves where there is still some flexibility or moisture still in the leaves. if it is too dry, they will have to be re-hydrated to the proper moisture level.

  • How long do you leave the tobacco leave left in the press for

  • Great videos. I cure mine a bit differently, but I think next year I'll try a batch your way as well (I usually go for pipe tobacco so I want a moist product but friends keep asking me to make them cigarette tobacco and so far I've been unsuccessful in that).

    Thanks :-)

PS- Any chance we'll get another series about your bourbon brewing process?

  • nice video series i liked it
