@Walala2000 I think you have a problem with the motherboard or cpu in that case.

Hi, my Samsung LN40B500 LCD 1080 TV today begin doing crazy stuff by itself. When I turned on the TV today, the TV began changing channels non-stop automatically by itself. And also the volume went up to 100 and droped to 0 by itself. I cannot even change the channel or switch to HDMI or other resourses by remote or by TV control. May I ask you if this is the also the capacitor probelm????? Or it is something else? Please help me, we have no money to fix TV for $400. Thank you very very much!

@GPE001 where do I get these?
-
@kongo7896 IS YOUR SHIFT KEY ALSO STUCK?
-
@kongo7896 yes you will be fin even better because now you have play room for the voltage and with the higher temp marking on the cap it will last longer than the ones that was already in the system.

I have a samsung 42 inch I got gave to me because the guy that had it spent 400 bucks to have it repaired and guess what it went out again on him so he gave it to me for parts. I did the cap thing again but he bluw a fuze in it as I ched the power board and I replaced the hard to find fuz and it blew again so I had a bad high volt transformer so I replaced the intire power board for 70 bucks and bought a small computer fan to put in it to keep it cool and I have now had it for 2 years.

I have a Samsung LNT4061FX/XAA TV with the usual power problems, clicking several times before turning on. At it's worst, it took about 45 seconds to turn on. When watching the TV one night, it suddenly turned off, as if there was a power failure. It would not turn back on. I replaced two 10v 2200uF capacitors on the power supply because they were the only ones that bulged at the top. But the TV would still not turn on. I will now replace the rest of the capacitors. Any other suggestions?

@bodoblaze Look at the part number of the powerboard (stamped or printed along the top edge of the Printed circuit board) type in Samsung then the powerboard number and you will find out if anyone has listed one for sale. This is what I did for my LNT 4665 set. I am now watching tennis from the Australian Open in 1080i. My board was $79 including shipping.

@Kukkii1337 - this tv is 27" lcd check for 24dc volt (its stamped on p.s.) powersupply going to logic mainboard if that reads low its inverter or caps (CAPS CAN BE BAD & NOT BULGED) CAPS GO BAD 1ST THAN BULGE AFTER WEEKS OR MONTHS OF USING THE TV . good luck

Thanks fixed my LN52 750 using this. I found two blown caps and used a single 2200uF 35V replacement since the originals were 1000uF in parallel, and I stole this cap from an old VCR. I was also in my pajamas.
