Here it is, OLDFIELD PARK!

Would you believe that I have been planning this thing for over a year? The first sketches were made back in March of 2009, and it was originally intended to be SMALLER than Pegasus Park, but in the end, it was actually larger; this turned out to be a problem, you see when making a park like this, I usually push the RCT3 engine to it's limits, but this time I feel I may have pushed it a little too far, as I started to have problems with extreme sluggishness, and occasional crashing to the desktop, therefore this is probably the biggest park I will ever make.

My computer really struggled to render this, often dropping to less than one frame per second, so this explains the lack of surrounding scenery, I wanted to just concentrate on the park it's self.

The park is huge! And has lots of staff, over one hundred janitors that keep running around cleaning the place, and about fifty mechanics, whose job it is to inspect and repair all those rides, and to fish the go-karts out of the boating pond!

The tower is probably the tallest thing I have ever created in RCT3, in fact, by counting the wall sections, and knowing that each one is approximately three metres in height, I can estimate the total height of the tower, from the ground to the tip of the freefall dropper ride to be approximately 348 Metres (1141.732 Feet) high! This makes my tower taller than the Eiffel Tower, but not as tall as the Empire State Building.

This park was created as a tribute to British music legend, and Musical Genius, Mike Oldfield; His music has inspired me in many ways. That is why all the roller coasters and water slides in this park are named after tracks from Mike's albums.

As usual, no custom scenery was used in this project.

  • thanks, but can you re- collour terrain blocks?

  • @sirmonkeyalot7 You can in a way, if you change the terrain below them, they change to match the terrain.

  • alloria, please tell me what the name of that awesome song is that you use in the credits.

  • @ollieblade Ironically, it's in the credits!

  • Alloria, (please respond)

how do you get the camera routes editor TO LOOK UP WHILE MOVING. Like at 7:40

I cant get my camera to look up in the routes editor. Please help.

  • @slayerguy21 Try putting your camera into "freelook" mode, you can look anywhere then.

  • I know this video is quite old. But when I watched it, I was astounded! I am a huge RCT3 fan and alloria has shown me that you don't need custom scenery or cheats to make a masterpiece like this!

  • I know this is 1 year old, but I have not seen one park that has even gotten close to surpassing this one. I cant imagine how much dedication this took. And to top that off he did not use one piece of custom scenery. Great job alloria!

  • how did you build the waterfall into the building without building the terrain higher?

  • you are the greatest biggest and best Rct3 player i ever seen youre amazing good job man!!!

  • Can you post this park and many others up for download? Great theme park by the way! Loved the boats!

  • How did you do the water fall?

  • do you draw them in real life?

  • Funking awesome. Mike Oldfield wrote the theme to the Exorcist. You should have had a ride called tubular bells( theme from the Exorcist)!!

  • what would be nice is an indoor monorail or transporting train to transfer visitors to each facility. You see that would make it more convenient for the guests. Just some feedback. besides that this park is a wonder.
