On a hot morning in August 14th 1990 a Marine RF-4B Phantom touched down onto the runway of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point North Carolina signifying the end of the only operational Marine Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, VMFP-3. We would like to invite all VMFP-3 Marine Veterans to attend a very special 20th Anniversary in honor of the last flight of the RF-4B Phantom. I stumbled across this video today after doing some searching for VMFP-3 related info.

I have in my photo archives some flight-line photos shot during deployments in the mid to late '80s to Iwakuni, Japan and Cubi Point, Philippines. I was actually I-Level in H&MS-11, but deployed twice with VMFP-3. I'll get my images in digital form and post them shortly.
