@chinopisces Oh man, you`re in for a big surprise then; in Japan , ska and reggae are huge, and because of that, female singers, doesn`t matter the backround they have,at one point, they do a ska, reggae or rocksteady song; just to give you a few examples, the most famous japanese ska band, tokyo ska paradise orchestra, has had a couple of female singers rocking with them; on their next album, they`ll have Yoshie Nanako from EgoWrappin; chek out the one called -Love Scene-, from Ego Wrappin

@chinopisces Tica is like a nik name for Kaori chan; have you checked Bonnie Pink? she has some awesome singles, like -Your Eyeyes- or -Don`t Get Me Wrong-;so, once you graduate from japanese ska, you might wanna check out other bands with killer female voices, such as The Robustos, Trains Tone or The Gramophone Allstars...
