  • Polish is easy :D I understand polish... Hmmm... I am Polish :D

  • @inka94mm

  • @ProkseHDGaming it's even worse! it's SZ!!

  • @sloveniaANDusa then look at what i sent you. In slovenian 'skodelici' and 'njiju' and form of a number changes, while in polish it's exactly the same - name of an object, form of a number and pronoun changes. The thing is you could explain it better :P I found the dual thing on wikipedia ('liczba podwójna' in polish), and polish still have some traits of it, but it's officialy dead :P And more languages have it: Lithuanian, Slovenian, Arabic, Aleut and Sorbian languages.

  • @sratytaty

I've searched about the dual on Wikipedia(in Polish) and really doesn't show a lot :S If you can see, the last time i wrote : " Imam 2(dve) skodelici in pijem iz njiju" the full sentence has changed not just the number and "skodelica" (cup)

  • @sloveniaANDusa It's exactly the same. Here it's 1=jeden, 2=dwa, but 'Mam jedną (1) piłkę' and 'Mam dwie (2) piłki'. I don't see anything interesting about that in wikipedia.

  • @sratytaty

Imam 1(eno) skodelico in pijem iz nje

Imam 2(dve) skodelici in pijem iz njiju

Imam 3(tri) skodelice in pijem iz njih

We even bend the first two numbers 1= ena, 2=dva...

Sorry it's hard to explain more about it... Try on Wikipedia or any other page to find more explanation :/

  • @sloveniaANDusa I still don't see a difference. I have one yellow cup and i drink from it.

Mam 1 żółty kubek i z niego piję.

Mam 2 żółte kubki i z nich piję.

Mam 5 żółtych kubków i z nich piję. etc.

  • @sratytaty

yeah serbs and croatians have this too but our dual is fully saved and it's used for nouns, verb... i mean everything.... :

i have a ball and it's yellow and i use them for playing xD (main thing is "žoga"-'ball' again :D) :

imam eno (1) žogo in je rumene barve, uporabljam jo, da se igram

""imam dve (2) žogi in sta rumeni barvi, uporabljam ju, da.... "

imam tri (3-5) žoge in so rumene barve, uporabljam jih, da...

imam šest(6+) žog in so rumene barve, uporabljam jih, da...
