  • omg.... I wish earl was my friend,

  • Wow! To hear the master break it down like that is a great treat! His lingering high octave lick emulating a sustained trumpet note is regarded by many as a typical Herbie Hancock lick - I wonder who young Herbie was checking out growing up in Earl Hines' stomping grounds of Chicago.... :)

  • What is this show?

  • 4:45 wow.

  • Amazing film showing that he never forgot any of his prior piano styles! Wonderful. I wonder what year this film was shot.

  • Love the way he smiles while playing and goes "ha, ha" when he has finished. Love you, Earl!

  • Yes yes yes!!!! I love it!

  • incredible! i can't believe how much information can be given at one time!

  • Very clever man! Natural in every way.
