  • I was wondering, 1st, is there a diagram for a telecaster with a p90 in the neck, and if its possible, a diagram with a p90 in neck of telecaster with the tele tapped, Thank you

  • the diagram would be the same P-90 or traditional tele neck or humbucker or whatever- the lead wires are slightly different but they hook up the same place.

take Any simple schematic with a push pull pot for tapping and put the push pull pot in place of the volume or tone control. Rewire the push pull in like the original pot. The push pull has an additional set of contacts for the coil tap- youll see it on the push pull schematic Duncan has alot of schematics you can mix and match

  • hi jason,

greetings from germany and thanks for sharing your vids.

i have one question: i want to install 2 p90s with 1 volume, 1 tone and 1 toggle but can only find lots of different wiring diagrams. could you or someone else give me a good advice how to wire them?

  • what you do is run the pickups to the switch then the output of the switch goes to the volume, tone and then to the output jack

you could use a telecaster schematic if you cant find the correct one- of course the switch is wired a little different. Duncan has alot of schematics- you could use a 2 humbucker, volume, tone schematic

  • hey man i have an sg and want to install jackson rr pickups do you think it is possible without running into problems? im not entirely positive i understand the wiring because the original pickups have different colored wires and so on. i would be really cool if you could hook me up with some schematics.idk if you wanna do that tho. thx dude

  • stewart macdonalds guitar shop supply has a chart with alot of humbucker color codes - it MIGHT have jackson on there other than that I would have to have the guitar and the replacement pickups in hand with a few tools and I could figure it out- anyone that has some experience should be able to help you if you can get them to look at the guitar in person

  • jason,Would I be correct to say that it would be very costly for you to convert my epiphone dot studio hollow body to p-90s with new pots and switch and jack? James

  • if you buy a set of pickups I can sell you the wiring, pots , switch and output jack

if you just want to get everything but the pickups try stewart macdonalds guitar shop supply
