@Julian9ehp I wonder if the Seattle harpsichord builder Jack Peters may be able to build you one. I believe he has built one already.

@therecordingengineer Hurrah for the Welsh!

what piece is that? I've been looking for mediveal music of that style for musical inspiration.

The piece is this "Innsbruck, Ich muß dich laßen" by Issac. You'll find more of it on David's CD "Harmony-Lore" (organ.o ORO 105).

Isn't this "Innsbruck, Ich muß dich laßen"?

Yes it is! On his CD 'Harmony-Lore" (organ.o ORO 105) David has recorded three versions of this work by various composers. This is one by Issac was published for lute in 1558 by Ochsenkuhn.

@therecordingengineer You know, I've been looking for a good (no pedals) keyboard version of this, but there are only two available on line--one is really weird sounding and bears little resemblance to the original piece (!) and the other has a pedal part, which I don't want. I could transcribe it myself, but that's an awful lot of work. Do you know where I can find an inexpensive keyboard version in standard modern keyboard notation with standard treble and bass clefs?

@baroqueboy
Unfortunately, David doesn't know of a version of this is standard modern keyboard notation either. Hopefully someone else may be able to let us know if one exists.
