@kswifts1 Mitt Romney is a Liberal acting like a Republican conservative but much of the base rejects Mitt Romney. Santorum is taking part of the conservative vote away from Newt and he is having trouble beating Mitt for that reason. Conservatives have to pick either Newt or Santorum. They can't have both.

Go ahead. Look at Newt Gingrich's conservative record. Start with his work in 1984 on Reagan's re-election platform. Look at his words coming out of the mouths of Republicans in 1994 taking back the House and Senate with the Contract With America.
Newt's not a conservative, and gun grabbing, gay marrying, "kids need abortion rights too" Mitt is???
