@DaPharaoh06 No its not true
The Bible saying in all your getting, get understanding! She is going to college for the Goal of gaining more knowledge ( The bible said my people perish for lack of knowledge! ) Don't come with some half baked pitch to deceptively support her but question her easy to understand actions. The fact that you have named your self DaPharoah explains the source of your many questions and thinking!

@DaPharaoh06 to the one your posting to : Sister Don't mind what folks are saying you are on point! You have eyes to see and ears to hear and a mind that has came and reasoned with Christ! Challenge these spirits to see if they are in fact of God!
-
@DaPharaoh06 Focus on Christ as he was far better example than MLK Jr or any so called leader in the world!
-
@DaPharaoh06 She is not your sister! Because you said your an active member of a Frat! So don't come at her with the salutation My Sister. Of course your going to Quote Martin Luther King .Jr he also was part of a brother hood! Why don't you Quote Christ instead!
-
Why is everybody talking about MLK Jr. Yes!!! he was in a fraternity but that doesnt mean its ok to do what he did. Maybe if he knew some of this stuff that these good christians are are trying to inform us about, I bet he wouldnt have joined one either. Just Cause some great leaders joined sororities or fraternities, yall think its ok, smdh. I wouldnt give my heart, my soul, my NOTHING to anyone else but God.!

wow!!!! I found it very interesting that we(as believers) are so quick to come to defense of a cult than when someone slanders your God! The Bible says my people perish from the lack of knowledge............satan will never come to someone wanting to pledge in a sorority and say we openly serve idol gods, so what he does is dress it up in sisterhood, feeding the hungry, and doing good deeds but the fact remains these cults are founded on worshipping pagan gods.

@LaLa910 MLK, Jr. was a bit more than just a cool dude. He sacrificed himself for what he believed. He was a footsoldier for justice. But he also had his shortcomings and made his mistakes. That's precisely my point. One can be both redeemed & be a sinner. One can be both a tremendous force for good & be tremendously flawed. We are called as Christians to be LIKE Christ, but we can't be Christ. I'm merely saying, we judge a tree by the fruit it bears & not by the fruit we'd like it to bear.
Peace & Blessings to you, my Sister... As a fellow believer (and, by the way, an active member of a fraternity), I disagree with some of your analysis. I do, however, commend you for speaking your heart and sharing your opinions. We, in the body of Christ, must speak boldly & while we may sometimes disagree, we should never be violently disagreeable. A great Christian leader and man of God, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., once said those words. And, yeah, he was also in a fraternity. God Bless U!

@DaPharaoh06 COOL! All I'm saying is this..You say you are a Christian & an Active Member of (I'm assuming) a Secular Fraternity...You know whether or not your Frat promotes A life of Holiness. And if that Fraternity is Not About YOUR FATHERS BUSINESS, then why pay your $750 to pledge and go through that whole process..Everything we put our time, money & effort into should be about Kingdom Business..Was Big Brother Jesus spending his time on Earth sewing into FLESH or sewing into the Kingdom??

@LaLa910 MLK was a Cleaaaarly a COOL DUDE TOO; However I could care less if he (as a Major Leader in the African American Community) was apart of one too, That doesn't give Us the Okay to do things because he did them and said he was a Christian...FOLLOW people as they Follow Christ.

@LaLa910 With all due respect, your argument is built on a premise that assumes cannot be a member of an organization or group that doesn't promote an overtly Christian message if one is a Christian. That seems rather narrowminded.
DaPharaoh06 1 year ago
@DaPharaoh06 As a Christian, I find it Necessary to be Narrowminded towards many worldly things. Call me that if you must...Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it....You know whether or Not your Frat is about your Fathers Business...God is not a Priority, he's the Priority. God should get the glory out of everything we do

I am not a part of a sorority or fraternity but I am a christian and I have family members who are not evenly yoked with me but bc we as christians r not evenly yoked with alot of ppl, we should not judge, As the body of Christ should---I believe that some ppl are drawn to these organizations to draw others to Christ..Some ppl r lead by God to do so. U cannot speak for all christians ..nd originally these orgs were founded upon great ideas but over time some ppl began takin it out of proportion

@wisdomchild24 What do you mean when you say judge? We as Christians were given authority to "Check" our other Christian brothers & sisters but not to condemn people to hell (in that sense of judging). When I give my opinion about this subject I don't expect for all Christ Followers to listen and Obey, however when I am clearly repeating what's in the Bible I do...Also, like I said before, One does not have to join to lead others to Christ.
