Odd Dead Space 2 glitch

An interesting glitch that happened to me while playing chapter 7, around when you enter the elevator to get to the Solar Panels.

After I had been killed by the giant Necromorph thing by the second solar panel a second time, when I had activated the elevator again I noticed the door still said 'Unlocked' as it was coming down. Feeling like seeing if I couldn't break something, I ran over and mashed the e button on my keyboard and...well, I managed to break SOMETHING, but I'm not quite sure what. I ended up sinking through the floor and into where you see me running around on the video.

my glitch is that i can't get passed the door after the elevator ride eventhough i used Howard Phillip's dead body!!!!!It keep on repeating 'unauthorized rig"FUCK!!!!! BTW I played in Hard core mode!

@GooberGamer My computer got infested with malware, so i had to create a new user. All of Dead Space 2 progress... Gone. I still have my multiplayer, but i have to restart the entire story.

@GooberGamer I'm gonna do a new game + with this save on Zealot. Ill see if I get the gun back when I re-find the schematic on the 3rd time through. I really hope something stupid like this dosent happen when I try this on Hard-core. I was really angry because I was also working on "the nanny" achievement, which the force gun is ideal for. Oh well Ill see.
