I HAVE NO MIDI CONTROLLER, im trying to use an internal DAW midi controller type thing, i know cubase has a thing where it has a huge keyboard and every key is set to a drum, and its got a buncha squares, and you click the square, and it plays the beat, and then you make an entire sequence, save it, then drag n drop it into your OTHER DAW. but i should be able to do this all from ableton and i CANT FIGURE IT OUT PLZZ HELP!!!! i've sat on this for like 3 months without figuring it out.

@infamousstitch it sounds like what you're looking for is a combination of Impulse and/or Drum Racks, and the Computer MIDI keyboard.

@AbletonInc - great video tut... and I got to it because i recentrly got SP with the drumkit from hell exp... the thing is, the SP inside ableton cannot see it. I cannot find it. is there something I need to be aware off? did i isntall it wrong?

I can't get this to work right with my Yahmaha dtx with ezdrummer while its running through abelton live because there no file menu or way to adjust it from default to edrums or ccoffset, As a stand alone I have no problem

@infamousstitch drag the drum loop into the mixer in ableton live 7 (Arrangement view) and click on it...at the bottom far right of the screen you will see two tab like things click on the one to the left "not labled ez drummer" in there you can rearrange it....hope this helps dude

is it possible to make your own beats with ezdrummer or do you have to use the built in 'grooves' i.e. loops and fills?
