about your car...Mine did the same thing foreverrrrr.

replace the ignition switch if you still have the car or if its still not working. its either that or the BCM. but my car would do that and it was because one of my wires in my ignition switch was shot, so it automatically turned on the theft prevention thing that it does when it thinks its being hot wired
