Jon, sprint says on their website that average 4g wimax speeds are 3-6 mbps not the average starts at 6. The average speeds start at 3. And that is still pretty fast for a wireless network. And it's also unlimited 4g use with 5gb included unlike verizon charges 50 for only 5gb of 4g data. And you can get peaks up to 10 Mbps with sprint. Overall sprint has best phones plans and reasonable 3G coverage 3x of AT&T. And number 2 in a recent survey and AT&T was last while sprint and verizon were top

@djkram650 impossible because the absolute max for 3G is 2mbps. besides im getting 6mbps on my 4G.
LTE will be even faster (100mbps) but its to expensive for any company to invest in just yet.
LTE wont be here until 2011 and wont be full speed untill at least 2013.
Sprints 4G is not a joke its just temporary until they or anyone for that matter can afford LTE.

@shakenama fuck it their 4G access because they all sell the device to and they strain the network but Sprint never upgraded the network no matter how much I bitched they won't listen so fuck it I'm leaving their 4G and going with Road Runner for $10 less until ATT launches their LTE next year which is going to get 75-100mbps making it a real 4G network so fuck corporate greedy mother fuckers because ATT is gonna fuck you in the u know!! How do I know this? The tests are on and I saw them on Ya

Ok a year and a couple days after is how long I've had the service and the very first day it sucked!! Yes I was inside my home and that was with the modem attached to the computer I didn't even get a full megabit3!! So ok I thought let it warm up a bit you know get the towers a chance well I should have just canceled the service because a week later I went in to get my U300 modem the one in the video checked by the Sprint technicians!! Guess what nothing was wrong but they still gave me a new o

Sprints WiMax is currently accessible in 50+ major cities including Philadelphia & Pittsburgh. Bear in mind Sprint is not the only company who is behind WiMax. Comcast, Intel, Time Warner, Google and Bright House Networks are all part of the consortium and are hoping to reach 120mil subscribers by end of the year.
Verizon is said to release LTE in November but is still in testing phase. Both AT&t and Verizon are very tight lipped about LTE.

Um I might just wait for verizon to Launch LTE
