Your absolutely right. That is the original chord. But for just playing it accoustically I think the Eb works better for me, it's just down to how well you sing and my singing is'nt very good at the best of times so for me the Eb is easier.

It's a Big Song - I think it sounds great on accoustic too. Took me ages to work out. Still not quite happy with a couple of bits but it was worth the effort. Glad to Share.
