I can honestly say I understand what she felt.

It's the weirdest feeling you get even just talking about Islam who truly understands it and being in the presence of Islam. While its not been enough to convince me to join due to my views on the existence of God, I can testify to that sort of deeply spiritual feeling.

It's a shame a woman in a UK university had to cover her hair to be listened to and taken seriously - clearly the men whom she studied with need to grow up and show some damn respect to fellow female students. Women in the UK have fought for equal treament for many years - we shouldn't have to wear scarves to get respect!!. I am a lawyer and I have always been respected by the men I have worked with & male clients I have advised - I have never had to cover my hair/face to be taken seriously.
