@TruNikkaz Well said man, but I find it hilarious to compare them, it's obvious that they'll be "frozen in time" as you said, but every single guitarist have their own styles and would sound the same anytime. Wait until the release of the new album and perhaps we could see this fact. If not, check his solos in Jag Panzer and Nevermore, most of them are too similar between the 3 bands.
Anyway, people who criticize them know they would like to be in the place he is and to have the skills they have

friedman is a hero of mine but i havent seen or heard any musical innovation out of him in years, its like hes frozen in time
