I can`t understand why you bothered putting this up. sounds shite. Get a decent amp with some guts so you can have quality sound at lower volume. These speakers are among some of the best around this size and have excellant stereo imiging when partnered with a gutsy 50w per channel amp. Mine are connected to my old Grey original Audiolab 8000a and a old Marantz CD6511SE cd player and the sound grips you and makes you listen. Oh hold on! You`ve ebayed them. Probably best really.

Playing radio on hifi speakers is a waste. Radio channels compress the sound to make it louder to stand out amongst the other radio channels. Thus getting rid of all the dynamics in the songs and making the details harder to hear.
These are older CM series, but after what I've heard from B&W and owning a pair of B&W myself, they probably sound great if you play a CD/vinyl on them instead of radio.
