I was intrigued to learn that this airplane was like the one that Director Steven Spielberg's father flew. The guns on the top and on the nose are impressive!
@GK4848 Addendum: I'm thinking the gentleman speaking about the aircraft is not, necessarily a veteran of the 490th (I am assuming he is a WWII vet, however), but, instead, a volunteer guide at the museum. Correct?
As the veteran states, this B-25 represents a particular aircraft of the 490th Bomb Squadron, "The Burma Bridge Busters". The black and white "Skull & Wings" is the squadron insignia. Just to clarify, Steven Spielberg's dad was a communications NCO...part of the ground support contingent. My dad was a pilot in the squadron, with 76 combat missions flown. Did u happen to get the vet's name?
@GK4848 Correction: Arnold Spielberg.

@GK4848 Addendum 2: Apparently, Aaron Spielberg did manage to go along on at least a couple of actual missions in the aircraft depicted.
