They were booked in Wheeling High School Gymnasium in Illinois (can you imagine?) around '75. We were almost trampled to death trying to squeeze through the doorway-general admission- rowdy fools in the back were pushing forward, idiots in the front were pushing back, we were in the middle. Squeezed some excelllent weed right out of my pocket, they did. Wishbone Ash had to borrow equipment, because theirs was shipped to Wheeling, West Virginia! And they still kicked ass.

Straight through their amps....no effects....only finely crafted organic arrangements in classic timeless rock compositions. Hell no todays bands ain't got it.....

the difference between Andy Powell and Ted Turner is the difference between a gibson flying V and a fender stratocaster

Unreal...36years ago...just like yesterday, the bands of today should look at this and learn.
