Is being gay a choice?

So...all of you people who agree with this tripe. I have a question for all of you.

When did you choose to be straight? When did you make a conscious decision to be aroused by the opposite sex? What was that decision like, and how long did it take to make it?

I really want to know. I mean...being gay, I never made a conscious decision to be hated, discriminated against and attacked (verbally, physically and psychologically) until the day I die.

So...yeah. Question for you guys there.

BUT ITS JUST COMMON SENSE! Why would you CHOSE to be gay. What possible motive comes from CHOOSING to be gay?

Sexual perversion.  Why do some people become pedophiles? Are they born pedophiles?

Family defined by nature and history, a male and a female make babies and this unit has been called a family, the backbone of society. It promotes the growth of our species. Research shows that children do best in a family with their mother and father family in tact. Healthy families make healthy societies. Government should be sanctioning and protecting the backbone of society. Gay people can be in committed relationships if they want. There is no reason for government to sanction it.

There's no scientific evidence that proves people are born straight either. At the end of the day you kind of have to take someone's word on what their sexual orientation is. In our social climate, I don't think any kid WANTS to be gay. We're all just doing the best we can with the cards we've been dealt.

Then those people aren't Christians. It's unfair to lump everyone into that category.

Nothing, absolutely nothing about the human species comes in back or white. It is the sam with sexuality. You might not understand this but sexuality comes in a range of variations. As a society we condemn pedophilia and bestiality because they are moraly wrong, like rape. Homosexuality might be abnormal for you but for a homosexual it is natural instinct. Unless you have a rational reason for why being gay is wrong, you can ban two or more consenting adults form having sex.
