Vietnam Veterans - Wrinkle Drawer (Soundcheck 1985)

Vietnam Veterans, a psychedelic group from Chalon, France. Only a few film-shorts survived them.
See them here, since most of you missed them live.

The Viet Vets were one of the main attractions of the Neo-Psych movement and a major event in the psych scene of the mid 80s (what was rather small, sadly), with every new record. Today it seems they are lost in time. There are no reissues known by me. Their sound are at first rooting in the 60s Garage sound evolved into a very uniqe mix of Psychedelia through their records.

this is good, but it's not the sme without harmonica............what happened to that guy? je was awesome on the first album and leant a back of the woods authenticity to the music. a genius.

yes, in fact, i was the harmonica player who brought a rusic and unfashionable edge to the 80s coolness....my harmonica playing was a perfect counterpoint to the sedcutivly nasal vocals......miss u buddy!.....piece, love, togetherness adn anarchy (minus the rockstarisms and ego trips).......yes, music is Ours -- and time has shown that it's better to be openminded in the cosmic scheme of things, for shortcomings are very often assets.......agree?
