I made this video to show the auto landing of the PMDG 744. And I think it is close to real life operations as I've seen a real life operations video by my friend, crop duster's pen pal from Iceland .

I've gone through the checklist given by PMDG during the videos.

One mistake it the Landing gear handler is not at OFF at the beginning of the video.

Feel free to point out my mistakes for Auto land and hope I can learn as much as I can from other Pro simmers.

  • can you tell me your flight plan?what are the waypoints or SID and STAR you used?

  • I didn't use any flight plan or STAR for this landing. I only selected the runway I was landing after i took off from 02C

  • I noticed your Altimeter was set to STD the whole time, better watch out for that, especially in low-vis conditions... which is more or less common in WSSS

  • Yup, was a bad mistake I made. The TFL was 13000ft. Should have set it to the QNH given by the ATIS!

    Thanks for the advice!

  • i find pmdg easier to fly then the lds 767

  • PAPI lights in real life do not necessarily correspond with the glideslope in real life either (Source: Someone we all know). So it's not a glitch, it's just how it works (though having four whites is a bit too far off). Nice video!

  • brilliant video!
