it's a shame they erased all the tapes in those days before the 70's that is CBS didn't keep the tapes but erased them to rerecord new ones on in the 60's. vcr's were in studios and cost $50000 then.

I love Captain Kangaroo! I've been trying to remember when I watched it. I was born in 1971 so I saw it for many years. Still LOVE it!

Oh My God, This Happened 27 years ago, I was just 2 years old at that time, and I also remember Watching this on Old PBS During my childhood years at the farm in canton, south dakota.
