Excavators are too slowly for harvesting compared the rubber wheeled harvesters. Of course e:s are cheaper. This driver is loosing time in rotation. He takes too far the tree and moves it very long way to the cutting point. 7,5 points from 10.

In this case the road is where the camera is standing so the operator is cutting out the need for a forwarder to move the logs. I agree the excavator is much slower but it is cheaper and the crane has a lot of power for windblow
