The peole who attacked the u.s.s. cole and other millitary establishments could have legitamatly been prosicuted in a courts martial. Like KSM, a real trail as opposed to a show trial could have gone a long way to repairing americas damaged repution and credibility.(unfortunatly protecting war criminals became more important)

"Terrorists" are not an army. They aren't even a military. (In the case of Al-Qaida, at least.) There's no country or government backing them. They are (again, in the case of Al-Qaida, at least) just an extreme, Islamic Right-wing, religious, criminal organization. No, dude, she's saying that there are two different kinds of people in this world, with VERY different sets of rights: soldiers and civilians. If you are a soldier, you are following _direct_ orders from your country's government. You have no right to refuse, but you are officially claimed by, working for, and protected by your government.
