Alexandria World Trade Organization Model "AWTO"

The WTO is one of the most important organizations that dissolve commercial disputes between member countries and prevent political conflicts. The organization deals with regulating trade between participating countries and providing a framework for negotiating and formalizing trade agreements.

The participants will be trained by well experienced trainers to develop their skills on research, presentation, organization, using terminology, negotiation, team work and cooperation by interacting, communicating and sharing ideas with each other; to acquire the knowledge and skills needed in the final conference that will take place by the end of the model.

The Model will also help participants to understand the global problems, the structure and roles of the political institutions in decision-making. It will be an experience that would change their way of thinking and would help them in their future careers.

The model on the international level will be mainly discussing the upcoming financial crisis caused by the fuel problems, and on the regional level will be discussing the application of the GATT in Egypt and the Middle East, and the effects of the tariffs on economy and development growth.
